What Drives The Movie Industry

Have you ever seen one of the latest movies? What do you notice? Compare it with the movie that you have seen way back several years ago? Yes, the visual and cinematic effects of today’s movies are way better than those of the movies before. Thanks to different technological advancements. Technology plays an important role in the development of the movie industry that is why there have been a lot of innovations nowadays which help movie makers to create movies with fantastic effects and with greater quality.
When it comes to the quality of the films, today’s movies are way better because you can see the movie in full color unlike before when the movies are still in black and white. Truly that the movies of today are more enjoyable to watch not to mention that they are exciting too because of the great effects such as 3D wherein it creates the illusion that the characters seem to come out of the movie screen.
When it comes to production, movie makers do not need to hire a lot of extras nowadays since they can generate computer graphics which will create the extras that they need such as when there are wars and there are a lot of soldiers. In other words, movie makers can save more on hiring people since they do not need to hire that much of a number of people anymore.
Another great thing that has been a product of technology is our home theater system. Yes, with today’s technology it is not possible to watch our favorite movies in our own home with the same quality as when we are in the movie house.
Technology has been a very important part of the movie industry and without it, we will not enjoy what we have right now.

In my opinion, it’s probably HELPED the movie industry by providing a 2-3 hour escape from all the bad news of real life, including but not limited to: high unemployment, record home foreclosures, whole countries going bankrupt, 3 major wars in the middle east no one has a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning, the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, a national infrastructure that’s falling apart around our ears because there’s supposedly no money to keep it in good repair, climate change and the resultant deaths of numerous species, a Government that can’t stop its stupid political posturing long enough to pass a budget that’s good for more than 3 weeks at a time….let’s see, what would YOU rather do, spend 24 HOURS a day being consumed by all this crap or only 21-22 HOURS with the remainder enjoying some good (or even BAD) escapism? I leave it to you! Then you go to the movies to get away from it and end up seeing something like “The Company Men” and WHOOPS! it all comes flashing back! Oh, well. Wow, now these might be the cheapest car insurance quotes I have ever seen.
